The Friends of JPPM
The Friends support environmental, history, heritage and archaeology educational programs and family events that connect adults and children to our local habitat.
Becoming a member is the best way to insure the health and vitality of programs and events that benefit our entire community.
Nestled in the heart of Calvert County, Maryland, we are located on the grounds of Jefferson Patterson Park & Museum. The park and museum, a bucolic 560-acre state owned and operated facility, was gifted to the State of Maryland in 1983 by Mrs. Jefferson Patterson. On the National Register of Historic Places, JPPM sits on a peninsula with 2.5 miles of waterfront overlooking the Patuxent River and St. Leonard Creek.
You can help the Friends of Jefferson Patterson Park in many ways. Consider becoming a Friend or Corporate Member, or give back by volunteering.
